What an amazing whirlwind trip we had to Darwin and how blessed were we with that beautiful dry season weather!!!
The band had not played together for 15 months and when we all came together in that dusty, spider webbed shed it was like we never left each others sides... The dynamics and the love we have in our band is something that can never be planned, it just works!! I am so lucky to have such a talented band!! They are my family, no doubt it!! :)
This time in Darwin we got to do a few tourist things, we all got to hold a little baby crocodile and feed bread to the deadly fish down at doctor's gully. :) haha We had a ball! And it wouldn't have been a trip to Darwin without a trip to Shennanigans monday night for Karaoke!! What an awesome night! I have all the footage, might upload some.... Need permission from the guys! haha
The festival performance was such a surreal moment in my life! I grew up in Darwin and had always dreamt of playing at the Darwin Festival and it had finally come true!! Plus we had a bit of fun getting dressed up in fancy dress for the occasion. hehe I really appreciate all the people that came out and supported us on the night, I felt honored to share our music with you and i hope there are more opportunities to come.
